Our Story

तारा

Made slowly, worn daily

Taara began with one karungali mala and a question: can something sacred also feel modern?

स्रोत

Sourcing

We buy small and slowly. Rudraksha comes from a single family of growers in Nepal, karungali from a Tamil Nadu workshop that has worked with ebony for three generations, and crystals from mines we can name. Nothing arrives here anonymously.

शिल्प

Craftsmanship

Every mala is strung by hand and knotted between beads so it holds its shape and sound. Silver caps are set individually. We reject more than we keep — a bead with a hairline crack never leaves the table.

अनुष्ठान

The Ritual

Before dispatch each piece is smoke-cleansed and left under moonlight. It ships in a cotton pouch with a care card, because how you receive a stone is part of how you wear it.

तारा

“A stone does not change your life. It reminds you, every morning, what you decided to change.”
